my favorite things

How cute are my new shoes? I love them!! I ordered them from alloy.com. I also, love this old perfume bottle that I found at an estate sale. I have so much fun taking pictures of cute little things. I am excited for the Fall because thats when I really go crazy for photography. I use to think it was wierd that I only am creative in the Fall, but I have been reading a book (the art of being you)  that says it is perfectly normal to have a seasonal talent and to think of it like a seed that cultivates for a time and then only blooms when it has reached maturity.

my closet

I am very lucky to have my own room for a closet. We had been using it for exercise equipment but it is much better as storage for all my treasures now, i also sell clothes on ebay, so i really needed storage for that too. I love having everything I own(mostly) hanging up instead of folded away in a drawer. It makes it so much easier to pick out outfits and plan what I am going to wear. I have an obession with skirts as you can tell, i really love pleated skirts right now, they look so pretty blowing in the breeze!

in the beginning

This is my first blog entry. I have been wanting to blog for a long time but thought, how can I be inspiring? But I have realized what I want from a blog is not to be inspiring, but to be inspired by others and their creativity....This is what I wore last night to a friends birthday party, it is mostly thrifted as is most of my wardrobe.
